Rep. Lois W. Kolkhorst is a member of the Texas House of Representatives, serving House District 13, which includes Austin, Grimes, Walker, and Washington Counties. She is responsible for a district spanning over 3,000 square miles, stretching over central Texas, from the pine forests of East Texas to the Coastal Gulf Plains.

The issue of statesmanship is often sacrificed during a critical political debate where it's more important to score points than to really solve problems. Ceremony Honors All Veterans
The HEARTS Veterans Museum of Texas Grand Opening Ceremony Wednesday was marked by much emotion, with about 700 veterans and dignitaries gathering to celebrate both the opening of the museum and Veterans Day — honoring those past and present who have served their country.

Local Pilot Killed In Vietnam War Laid To Rest
