Besides supporting and helping to pass tougher laws against cattle rustling, Lois has been directly involved in shaping environmental policies as a member of the Governor’s Clean Coal Technology Council. As an avid fisherman and hunter, she’s eager to face our state’s environmental challenges head-on.

To order a Texas Flag to be flown over the Texas State Capitol:

  • Contact our Capitol office via email, phone or mail.
  • Designate which size and type of flag you would like (the most commonly ordered are the 3×5 nylon which is $15.85 and the 3×5 cotton which is $15.35)
  • Checks should be made payable to the House of Representatives.
  • Accompanying the flag is a certificate denoting the name of the individual(s) or group in whose honor the flag is flown, the date that it was flown and the occasion for which it was flown. Please include this information in your correspondence with our office as well as the address where the flag is to be sent.
To set up a tour of your State Capitol
  • Please contact our Capitol office and provide the following information:
    • Date of tour
    • How many will be in attendance.
    • Time that you would like for the tour to be scheduled.
    • Contact information

To set up a school visit

  • Please contact our Capitol office and provide the following information:
    • Date of tour
    • Number of students touring the Capitol (Our office is happy to provide bags containing a variety of information about our state for each child in attendance.)

    • Date of visit
    • How many people in group
    • Where will you meet the photographer. Our team can make suggestions based on the size of your group
    • Address where you would like the photo mailed
